Also, it makes you wonder, what the heck are these studios testing their games on ? Cause it they did, they would have seen that the game performs poorly on single AMD cards and AMD crossfire setups.Īnd finally, when I went for the first time to the USA, I discovered a completly different culture, and the thing I liked the most about their culture was these 2 things: Americans see big! and they believe in their dreams but most importantly, they don't do "unfinished products".Īnd in my perspective, when a game comes out and you find out it's "broken" or "unfinished" and they still release it expecting new drivers to come out in 3 or 4 months, I believe they are screwing over the people (us) who buy their games (and who've been expecting them for a while lolzz) It sucks to have to beast video cards and see them perform poorly, just because the drivers aren't out yet"$?% wtf. In OTHER Words: I believe that the Game publishers, should Optimize their games properly to work with people's drivers and cards. which I find is not what the "common gamer" would be willing to spend to find solutions. It almost took me 2 hours of my time to fix all the Dragon Age 2, and witcher 2 problems I had. How did you guys fall on that page?Īlso, luckily, I'm a perfectionnist and I tend to ask questions and google around until I find a way to fix my problems. I always fall on a page that mentions the updated CAP profiles, and the updates CCC drivers. It's VERY CONFUSING and irritating to see how drivers influence everything.Īlso, that hotfix page doesn't show up when I look for drivers. For a short while, I thought my cards couldn't run the game. Nevertheless, I got to admit that it sucks that one has to find out about that hotfix page to fix driver problems. Next step will be to test the CCC AA vs the in-game AA. I have 60 FPS now, solid constant all the time even with occlusion, bloom and dof enabled. So I went ahead and applied that 11.5b hotfix, and it fixed the problem Yeah I was wrong about that page, I didn't look the last sentences.
